Dr. Al-Haj is a licensed physician by the State of Texas. She holds a board certification in General Surgery from the United Kingdom Medical Board. She extended her training in General Surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Texas in the Houston Medical Center. Dr. Al-Haj also has extensive training in mini/micro grafts hair transplantation. She worked at the Shriners Burn Institute in Galveston, Texas where she held a prestigious certification in Acute and Reconstructive Burn Surgery.
Dr. Al-Haj is also a Fellow with the American Academy of Anti-Aging and is a member of the American Society of Aesthetics and Mesotherapy.

It is a new resurfacing procedure for the entire face including eyes to erase years off your face and bring back a new Smartskin .It is an excellent procedure for removing scars such as acne scars ,sun damage and lines from the face ,neck decolletage area or/and hands.It can safely done around the eyes to improve heavy eyelids , get rid of wrinkles and tighten bags .It is the only alternative procedure to the knife .It is invasive procedure with 3-5 days downtime .
Unsightly veins of the lower legs or the face could be treated with laser or injectable depending on their size and color.The laser is excellent for 2mm purpule veins 2-3 sessions are required . The bigger size bleuish veins are treated with injectable hypertonic saline and compression is applied for 24-48 hours
2-3 sessions are required to achieve optimum results .

Patient with history of acne was treated with serial Hydrafacial and medical grade chemical peel. Dear Dr Haj,
I would like to thank you for the excellent medical treatment that you made available to me. Since the accident happen on Sunday evening and at that point the burn did not seem to be a major one, but next day it was looking quiet scary and I knew I immediately needed a doctor. When we discussed over phone on Monday you not only understood the complete situation but were really willing to take time out of your appointments to consult me. I believe that getting excellent medical consultation on time is the first step and I am really thankful for that.
Since the treatment started immediately, I was able to see a dry wound within a week and a see complete recovery in next 2 weeks. My wounds looks like all healed up and I understand that the mark would still remain there. However most important part is even after this level of burns, with proper treatment, there were no complications like septic.
Since I am on vacation in Houston I was worried that the accident would spoil my visit here. But now all my worries are gone and I can enjoy my stay here with my family Thanks to the excellent and efficient team that you have.
